Dalkia Engineering has a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Operative to join our talented team at Sizewell B and be part of a high-performing team supporting a critical part of the UK’s energy infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:


  • Execute tasks such as excavation, drainage installation, and concrete works
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow instructions from site supervisors and team leaders
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
  • Assist with temporary works and site setup
  • Engage with company policies and values


Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in civil engineering or construction projects
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Ability to recognise and deliver quality work
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills


Desirable Qualifications


  • CSCS Operatives Card
  • Plant operator certifications (e.g., excavator, dumper)
  • Experience in civil engineering industry
  • Full clean driving license (if required to operate company vehicles
