Production Line Leader in Rotherham

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an innovative food manufacturer going through an exciting period of growth to recruit a Production Line Leader to be based at their Rotherham facility.

Salary: £36,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 weekly rotation

Reporting to the Production Shift Manager, the Production Line Leader is responsible for managing a team of Production Line Operators with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve functionality and efficiency.

Our client is looking for someone with a flexible attitude to work, the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements, can work unsupervised, challenges the status quo and is sensitive to the needs and demands of others.

Duties of the Production Line Leader will include:

• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, with the correct PPE in place, challenging where necessary
• Report near misses and accidents, investigate problems, agree and implement actions
• Ensure labour resource is utilised correctly to hit production targets
• GMP and housekeeping standards are maintained
• Drive effective performance across production / packing areas
• Promote continuous improvement culture, taking opportunities to drive process improvements

We are keen to speak with Production Line Leaders with the following skills/experience:

• Experience working within a Food Manufacturing environment at a Supervisor/Team Leader level
• Good organisational skills
• Excels at working in a fast-paced, highly pressurised environment
• Able to demonstrate a progressive attitude towards developing knowledge and skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence at all levels
