About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join several growing London teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded disputes specialist with a strong background in construction adjudication and related contentious matters.

You will advise a wide range of clients including developers, contractors, consultants, and funders on all aspects of construction and engineering disputes. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of adjudications, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as lead or supporting counsel in construction adjudications and other dispute resolution forums.
• Provide strategic advice on construction contracts, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke agreements.
• Manage and resolve payment disputes, defect claims, and delay/extension of time issues.
• Draft, review, and advise on adjudication submissions and related legal documentation.
• Support senior partners on complex multi-party disputes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry professionals.

About You

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–8 years’ PQE (guideline only).
• Proven experience handling construction adjudications and contentious matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction law and dispute resolution processes.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Commercially astute with a proactive, client-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
