Commercial Real Estate Associate in London Area

Job description

A global powerhouse law firm is seeking a skilled and dedicated lawyer to join their growing London team. The role focuses on commercial real estate, with an emphasis on asset management, acquisitions and disposals, development, and real estate finance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a city, national, or large regional law firm and possess excellent technical, drafting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day asset management work
• Handling acquisitions and disposals
• Managing development projects
• Involvement in corporate transactional investment work
• Advising on real estate finance matters (from a real estate perspective)

Qualifications:

• Excellent training in commercial property law
• Experience in asset management, transactional investment, and general commercial property law
• Worked at a city, national, or large regional or US law firm with a recognized property practice
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to understand and apply complex legal principles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and client interaction experience
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
• Positive, flexible, and hands-on attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Preferably England and Wales qualified
• Minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent
