Job description

A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking an experienced Head of Trading to lead and expand its global crypto trading operations. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of trading strategy, execution, and risk management, offering the opportunity to shape the firm’s crypto trading vision and scale a high-performance team in a fast-moving market.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and grow the firm’s spot, derivatives, and structured product trading across centralized and decentralized venues.
• Lead the design and execution of systematic and discretionary trading strategies, ensuring strong risk-adjusted performance.
• Manage daily trading operations, including capital allocation, risk oversight, and execution quality.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative research, technology, and data teams to enhance trading systems, analytics, and automation.
• Build and maintain key relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers, and counterparties.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of traders and researchers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of trading experience, with a proven track record in crypto or digital asset markets.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity, and execution dynamics across centralized and decentralized exchanges.
• Demonstrated success managing trading PnL and scaling profitable strategies.
• Experience leading teams and building trading desks within a proprietary or hedge fund environment.
• Technical fluency and ability to work closely with quant and engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
