Job Title: Topographical Surveyor

Location: Greater London and Surrounding Areas

Salary Package: £36,000 - £40,000 (DOE), Company Van + Fuel, Specialist Equipment

Company Overview:

Leggwork is partnering with a leading Land and Utility survey specialist delivering across some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects. With active frameworks in civil engineering, highways and water sectors, the company is expanding its Topographical Survey team to support long-term schemes across the South/ South East.

This is a great opportunity to join a company involved in shaping large-scale national infrastructure, with ongoing work linked to government-backed investment in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering accurate Topographical surveys to support civil and infrastructure development. Your duties will include:
• Conducting Topographical surveys in accordance with client specifications
• Ensuring all deliverables meet required standards, specifications and deadlines
• Operating specialist equipment such as Trimble Total Station to gather accurate data
• Reporting on survey findings and flagging any variations or risks
• Maintaining accuracy and integrity throughout the surveying process

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in conducting Topographical surveys
• Proficiency with Trimble Total Station and other relevant equipment
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality
• Ability to manage your own workload and work within a team
• Understanding of site safety and best practice within civil infrastructure
• Full UK driving licence (company van provided)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Formal surveying qualification such as QCF/ ProQual
• Experience in civil engineering, construction, highways or water sectors
