Experienced Speech Pathologist Wanted – AUSTRALIA
Location: Ballarat, Victoria - 1hr from Melbourne City
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Relocation Package: $5,000 AUD
Company Vehicle provided for first 4 weeks
About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated and client-focused Speech Pathologist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team in Ballarat. You’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services, helping clients achieve their communication and swallowing goals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment alongside experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Behavior Support Practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practice.
- Provide direct therapy and monitor client progress with accurate documentation.
- Educate and empower clients and their families with practical strategies and resources.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Participate in professional development, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent).
- Current registration with SPA (Speech Pathology Australia) or eligibility to obtain it.
- Current registration with HCPC
- Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) (optional but strongly recommended)
- Experience in healthcare or allied health settings (NDIS experience advantageous).
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Swallow assessment experience highly regarded.
- Therapists would be working in community NDIS roles across the life span.
