A well-established housebuilder is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their Commercial team, working across a portfolio of quality-driven residential developments in the Oxfordshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded construction professional to join a forward-thinking developer with a strong local presence, a healthy pipeline, and a commitment to building sustainable communities — not just houses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procuring construction materials and services across multiple live and planned residential sites.
• Negotiating prices, terms, and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Managing procurement schedules and ensuring timely site deliveries.
• Monitoring cost performance and reporting against budgets.
• Working closely with site managers, surveyors, and technical teams to ensure procurement aligns with programme requirements.
• Supporting value engineering and buildability reviews.
• Tracking supplier performance and maintaining strong working relationships.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a Buyer role within residential construction or housebuilding is essential.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong understanding of building materials and procurement processes.
• Organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with COINS or similar systems is desirable.
• Based within commutable distance to Oxford.
