A highly respected law firm with a global client base across technology, life sciences, and brands is seeking a Commercial IT Associate (3–6 PQE) to join its top-ranked Commercial IT team in London.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most admired practices in the market, working with a firm known for its technical excellence, sector-leading work and collaborative, non-target-driven culture.
The Role
You’ll advise some of the world’s most innovative technology and life sciences companies on complex commercial and regulatory matters, including:
- Technology and IT outsourcing across infrastructure, application development and business process outsourcing.
- Digital transformation projects involving cloud, blockchain, cybersecurity, fintech, adtech and digital health.
- Artificial Intelligence mandates, including governance, product launch advice and risk management.
- Digital regulation, helping global clients navigate evolving EU, UK and international frameworks such as the AI Act, DORA and Cyber Resilience Act.
- General commercial and telecoms work, including procurement, licensing and joint ventures.
You’ll work closely with partners recognised as leaders in the field, gaining hands-on responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to shape projects from inception through to delivery.
About You
- 3–6 PQE qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with experience in commercial, technology or IT law.
- A genuine interest in technology and digital innovation.
- Excellent drafting and client-facing skills.
- A team player with enthusiasm for business development and sector engagement.
