Walker Cole International is supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in the appointment of a Vice President Commercial (UK). This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a business undergoing strategic transformation, offering the chance to shape the future of a diverse and complex portfolio.

Location: Southeast England (Hybrid)

The Opportunity:

This executive role will lead customer-facing activities for a UK pharmaceutical business, overseeing a broad portfolio of pharmaceutical products across specialty care and hospital channels. With full P&L accountability, the VP will drive commercial performance, lead cross-functional teams, and play a key role in strategic planning, launch execution, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across marketing, sales, medical, and commercial functions
• Drive strategic growth initiatives and transformation aligned with global objectives
• Oversee launch planning, market access strategy, and portfolio optimisation
• Represent the UK business in global forums and collaborate across international teams

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Senior leadership experience within the UK pharmaceutical industry
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in product launches and market access
• Deep understanding of NHS dynamics, tendering processes, and hospital channel strategy
• Inspirational leadership style with experience managing large, cross-functional teams
• Comfortable navigating complex, matrixed environments and leading change
• Experience in both affiliate and global roles is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Life Sciences or Business
• MBA advantageous
