Quantity Surveyor – £100m Mixed-Use Development

North London

Up to £75,000 + Package (Hybrid working)

Main Contractor | Residential, Commercial & Student Accommodation

Overview:

An established, family-owned main contractor with operations across the UK and Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a £100m mixed-use development in North London.

This high-profile scheme forms part of a wider regeneration masterplan and includes a blend of residential units, student accommodation, and commercial space.

The successful candidate will support the Senior and Lead Commercial Manager on this landmark scheme while gaining experience across all commercial phases — with a clear route to Senior QS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Support the preparation of valuations, variations, and cost forecasts
• Help maintain commercial controls, cost reporting, and accurate record-keeping
• Contribute to contract administration and final accounts
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure commercial goals are met

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years' experience with a main contractor or developer
• Strong understanding of mixed-use or residential-led schemes
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Good commercial awareness and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
