Quality Inspector – Aerospace | Wolverhampton

A precision engineering company in Wolverhampton is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong inspection skills who wants to work in a supportive and friendly environment.

What you’ll do:

• Check parts and assemblies to make sure they meet visual and measurement standards.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAIRs).
• Use digital systems to record inspection results.
• Support inspections at different stages—receiving, in-process, and final checks.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Use standard inspection tools.
• Share clear feedback with engineering teams.

What you’ll need:

• Strong experience using inspection and measuring tools.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings.
• HNC in Engineering or similar experience in aerospace quality.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts if needed.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with aviation / AS9100 quality systems.
• Knowledge of SAP and Solumina.
• Experience with CMMs.
