We’re hiring: In-House Lawyer (Energy / Trading)
UK Remote (London co-working space optional) | Permanent | £90,000

We’re redefining energy supply for the age of electrification and sustainability, connecting major UK energy users directly with 100% clean, traceable power. As we scale, we’re looking for an In-House Lawyer (3 - 5 PQE) who thrives on innovation, autonomy, and impact.
The Opportunity
You’ll be at the heart of a business reinventing how energy is sourced, priced, and traded - providing legal guidance across commercial, trading, corporate, and regulatory matters.
This is your chance to build an in-house legal function for the digital age - combining high-quality legal work with genuine purpose.
What You’ll Do
- Draft, negotiate, and manage supply, trading, and product contracts (PPAs, ISDAs, GTMAs, etc.)
- Partner with product and trading teams to turn innovation into real-world agreements
- Advise on OFGEM regulations, corporate governance, and compliance
- Support fundraising, share options, and investor relations as we scale
- Drive Legal Ops innovation - from contract lifecycle management to digital workflows
You’ll Bring
- UK-qualified Solicitor, 3–5 years PQE (energy, trading, or commercial background ideal)
- Strong deal execution and contract drafting skills
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to advise fast-moving teams
- Legal tech curiosity (experience with CLM or DocuSign a plus)
- Energy, adaptability, and a genuine passion for building something new
