Derivatives Associate – London (0–3 PQE)

Our international firm client is seeking a bright and motivated junior associate to join its London-based Derivatives team — part of a broader, market-leading Financial Markets & Products practice.

Working closely with colleagues across Europe, Asia, and the US, this team advises on the full spectrum of OTC derivative products, with a particular focus on finance-linked hedging within asset, project, and acquisition financings. You can expect exposure to sophisticated cross-border work, including secured and unsecured derivatives, pre-hedging and deal-contingent arrangements, restructurings, and syndications.

This position will suit a technically strong, commercially minded lawyer looking to deepen their derivatives expertise within a genuinely collaborative international platform. You will work closely with top-tier finance and regulatory specialists on complex structured transactions, frequently involving innovative hedging strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• You must be an England & Wales-qualified solicitor with 0–3 years’ PQE gained within a respected derivatives or structured finance team.
• Strong grounding in ISDA documentation, credit support and security arrangements.
• Experience with LMA-based facility and intercreditor agreements advantageous.
• Excellent academics and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
