Our client, a growing multi-utilities infrastructure provider, is looking for Project Co-ordinator to support in the full lifecycle of projects within the Industrial & Commercial and Retail utility sectors. As a Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for requesting, documenting, and reporting on key stages within a project’s lifecycle, ensuring that information is requested accurately, within the agreed timescales. Key responsibilities for the Project Co-ordinator:


  • Secure Points of Connection and obtain quotes for new connections, disconnections, and diversions.
  • Prepare utility assessment reports during feasibility, design, and pre-construction stages.
  • Coordinate utility service drawings, integrating new supply routes with existing networks.
  • Generate budget estimates for utility installations, diversions, and disconnections.
  • Define project scopes, identifying constraints, timelines, risks, and technical complexities.
  • Manage design coordination with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Monitor project delivery to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and client requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Attend client, contractor, and subcontractor meetings to support successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits at key milestones and during implementation phases.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and utility providers.


Skills and Experience required for the Project Co-ordinator:


  • Good understanding of gas, water, electricity, and telecom infrastructure networks.
  • Ambitious and driven to learn and develop within the utility industry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads
  • Working knowledge of statutory network operators’ processes and design requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A good understanding of the construction industry.
  • Full UK driving license, as the role involves site visits and client meetings.
