About the Role

The Obs and Gynae Sonographer will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and contributing to the overall care of women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to physicians.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and students.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology.

• Dating Scans
• Viability
• Early Pregnancy
• Pregnancy
• Mid-Trimester
• Growth
• Uterine Artery Doppler
• Placental Localisation
• Cervical Length
• Renal
• Upper Abdominal
• Liver
• Leg Vein Doppler

Gynaecological Scans:

• Pelvic
• Pelvis
• Kidney
• Abdominal & Pelvic
• Abdominal
• Biopsy/Drainage

Qualifications

• Must be located in commutable distance to Leicester, England, United Kingdom
• Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Knowledge of Medicine and Radiology
• HCPC or RCT accredited
• 1-2 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology

Required Skills

• Proficient in performing obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Pay range and compensation package

• The rate of pay for this position ranges £50-£60 per hour.
