Our client, a well known international law firm, is looking to hire a mid-level Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice in London.
About the Team
The IP team is regularly ranked as band 1 in leading legal directories and is among the largest in London. The team handles a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including patents, trade marks, copyright, and data privacy. Clients include both emerging innovators and established global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a wide range of IP matters, with a primary focus on patent litigation in the life sciences sector.
- Provide high-quality litigation services.
- Support the growth and development of the IP practice.
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic credentials, ideally including a STEM degree.
- Completion of the Oxford Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice is advantageous.
- Proven experience in complex life sciences patent litigation before the High Court.
- Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring junior team members.

- Adaptability to work across various IP litigation matters and jurisdictions.
- Strong matter management and teamwork capabilities.
- Client-focused with clear and practical communication skills.
