Legal Counsel (Transactions) in City of London

Job description

Rutherford has partnered with an alternative investment manager seeking a Corporate Counsel to support transaction management and deal execution. This is a highly deal-focused role, offering exposure and coverage across a diverse range of asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiation, transaction management, and execution for commercial real estate loan transactions.
• Negotiation, transaction management, and execution for other asset classes (e.g., corporate, aviation, shipping, infrastructure, securitisation, etc.).
• Advising on general legal matters and commercial contracts (including drafting servicing agreements, NDAs, terms of business, and engagement letters).
• Reviewing and negotiating loan documentation and other ancillary documentation.
• Instructing and managing external counsel.

Requirements:

• UK qualified solicitor with roughly 3-6PQE
• Corporate transactions experience, ideally across real estate, infrastructure or aviation
• European language skills would be beneficial.
