Head of Operational Quality – Richmond Villages (Bupa)

Approx 30% WFH and then national travel to our Richmond Village Sites and head offices

Permanent

Full Time – 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join us as Head of Operational Quality, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance across our care homes and domiciliary services.

About the Role

As Head of Operational Quality, you’ll:

  • Lead on clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management across Richmond Villages.
  • Partner with the Managing Director and operational leaders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and oversee the performance of CQC Registered Managers.
  • Use clinical metrics and data to identify risks and ensure early intervention.
  • Represent Richmond Villages in clinical governance forums and with external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including dementia care and service innovation.


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of the UK care sector and CQC regulatory framework.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within quality assurance.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, including with regulators and senior stakeholders.
  • Passion for person-centred care and improving resident outcomes.
  • NMC registration is essential
  • Experience managing nursing care homes is advantageous.
