Quantity Surveyor in City of London

Job description

An opportunity to work for one of the world's leading offshore wind developer, based in their office in central London.

The right candidate will be a seasoned Quantity Surveyor, with strong experience in contract management , having worked on large scale offshore wind or energy projects.

Brief Description

This job requires extensive knowledge of contract changes management & claim management in FIDIC, BIMCO and LOGIC based contracts.

The major responsibilities are:

• Monitor and report package budget, control costs, and process contractor payments, including SAP operations.
• Manage contracts proactively to ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and obligations.
• Handle variation requests, enforce contractual changes, and draft related correspondence.
• Prepare dispute readiness documentation and advise on commercial/contractual issues.
• Provide regular performance updates to contract management and project leadership

Qualifications

• RICS certification is mandatory
• Degree qualified in a commercial subject, engineering or equivalent
• Experience in quantity surveying and contract management, preferably in the offshore wind industry or similar energy projects.

To be considered for this job, you must have right to work in UK, hold extensive experience in quantity surveying and contract management for large scale energy projects and be available to start in December 2025.
