Aircraft Fitter (Days & Nights)

MPI are looking for skilled and experienced Aircraft Mechanics to work our clients winter maintenance season at Luton Airport

Nights

• £38.46 ph – Umbrella
• 46hrs pw
• Monday – Thursday (10 hour shifts – Paid 11.5)
• Starting ASAP
• Until May/June 2026

Days

• £36.62 ph – Umbrella
• 50hrs pw
• Starting ASAP
• Until May/June 2026

Duties:

• Performing heavy base maintenance/'C' checks on aircraft
• Ideal candidate will have 10 years + experience on Boeing Fleet
• Experience in carrying out major Hangar Work
• Able to work unsupervised
• Good Hand Skills
• C Checks
• Landing Gear removal and refit
• Changing Brakes
• Fault Finding & Rectification work on systems hydraulics and pneumatics/air con
• APU

Airside Pass

Because this role is based airside, if selected, the candidate would have to undergo a Full Airside Pass. This entails having to reference the individual for the last 5 years of employment/education. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) would also have to be obtained from any country resided/worked in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.
