Real Estate Lawyer | 3-4 PQE in City of London

Job description

A top-tier real estate practice is seeking a talented and commercially minded Associate with 3–4 years post-qualification experience to join its dynamic commercial property team. The role offers exposure to high-value transactions, strategic advisory work, and a broad client base including institutional investors, developers, and corporate occupiers.

The team is recognised for its expertise in the £50–150 million market segment and is consistently ranked for its work with corporate occupiers and on complex investment and development projects. You’ll be joining a collaborative group known for its technical excellence and client-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on acquisitions, disposals, and asset management of commercial property portfolios
• Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and related documentation
• Supporting redevelopment and investment projects, including mixed-use schemes and logistics assets
• Working closely with internal teams across planning, construction, and tax to deliver integrated legal solutions
• Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3–4 years PQE in commercial real estate
• Strong experience in investment, development, and landlord/tenant matters
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach
• Ability to manage transactions independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment
