AI Adoption Specialist

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days a week)

Salary: up to £80,000

This one’s for the AI-curious change-makers, not the model builders.

We’re helping a specialist insurance business hire someone to make AI actually useful - turning automation, insights, and smarter decision-making into everyday reality.

You’ll sit in a small, tight-knit data team and report directly to the Head of Data Strategy. The focus is clear:

• Spot inefficiencies across the business.
• Build and test AI-driven improvements.
• Get people on board and make adoption stick.

The lions share will be in claims and underwriting - areas full of process, documents, and customer touchpoints begging for AI tools to make life easier.

It’s a hybrid role (2 days in Birmingham), hands-on with real influence. You’ll work closely with leadership, help shape governance, and bring the wider business on the AI journey.

We’re after someone with:

• A good grasp of AI tools and how to apply them (no need to code).
• Experience in analytics, automation, or data-driven change.
• Strong communication skills - you can make AI make sense.
• Bonus if you know insurance, regulation, or AI compliance.
