The Role

The Creative Video Producer is responsible for the end-to-end management, production, and delivery of video content that transforms complex research into clear, engaging, and impactful visual stories. This role blends creative vision with strong project management, working closely with the Research & Policy Center (RPC), the Institute’s Creative Exchange, and Marketing teams to ensure timely, on-brand, and strategic video outputs.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative briefs, concepts, scripts, and storyboards in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, logistics, and production timelines
  • Coordinate with internal creative teams and external vendors for filming and editing
  • Direct video shoots, manage talent, and ensure brand consistency and quality
  • Lead post-production processes, including editing, feedback integration, and final delivery
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, research integrity, and marketing strategy
  • Serve as the main point of contact between RPC, Creative Exchange, and Marketing
  • Provide regular updates, manage approvals, and escalate issues when needed
  • Advise on video formats, workflows, and asset management best practices
  • Support the development of a scalable video library and content strategy



Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in video production, with a focus on creative storytelling and project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Media Production, Communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted video tools and openness to emerging technologies
  • Strong ability to translate complex research into compelling visual narratives
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in global or cross-functional environments is a plus
