Freelance Producer – Boots

Nottingham (on-site and surrounding areas)

£370 per day (via umbrella)

Approx. 3-month contract | Start date TBC


Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join Boots on a freelance basis for the next three months. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality photography and video productions across multiple brands — combining creative vision with sharp production management.

This is an umbrella engagement (inside IR35), and most meetings and shoots will take place in and around Nottingham. Please note, travel expenses are not covered.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end production for photography and video shoots across multiple brands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and creative teams.
  • Lead and participate in creative and production calls — from initial brief through pre-production meetings.
  • Develop detailed production briefs, translating brand vision into shot lists, styling guides, and technical specifications.
  • Brief and coordinate stylists, photographers, videographers, creatives, and retouchers.
  • Manage all key project documentation, including timelines, budgets, casting, and permits.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to arrange necessary services and logistics.
  • Attend shoots as the client’s creative representative, ensuring delivery aligns with brand and creative direction.
  • Support the wider team across larger, multi-channel campaigns.


Experience & Skills

  • Strong technical understanding of production processes and creative decision-making.
  • Proven experience within a creative, agency, or in-house brand environment.
  • Confident in leading shoots and familiar with studio operations.
  • Exceptional organisational skills — comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, anticipating needs of both clients and teams.
  • Adaptable, calm under pressure, and comfortable working within complex organisations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
