Head of Solution Development, Technology and Application Systems
Location: London (Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office)
Contract: 18-month Fixed Term with scope for longer term permanent role
Salary: Around £110k per annum plus benefits
We are excited to collaborate with our respected client to find a Head of Solution Development, Technology and Application Systems. This key leadership position within the IT Services Lead Team will guide the strategic direction and operational management of essential enterprise applications that support both internal and customer-facing systems.
In this influential role, you will oversee a £multi-million portfolio, driving the design, implementation, and enhancement of IT solutions that are integral to our client's bold goals for 2030. Balancing strategy with service delivery, you’ll lead dynamic technical, managerial, and administrative teams, instilling a customer-centric culture throughout the directorate and the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership for enterprise systems and technology-enhanced learning within a complex landscape.
- Direct the development, integration, and support of a varied portfolio of applications.
- Inspire and galvanize teams and third-party suppliers to provide outstanding, customer-focused IT services.
- Manage substantial budgets and supplier partnerships to ensure maximum value and efficiency.
- Advocate for technological innovation to improve business operations.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing institutional IT and digital strategies.
About You:
We are looking for a seasoned IT leader who brings:
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale enterprise applications and teams in a complex setting.
- A solid history of driving strategic change, fostering innovation, and enhancing processes.
- Strong expertise in ITIL/ISO frameworks, cybersecurity, and information governance.
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic negotiation abilities.
- The vision and credibility to operate at the executive level and effectuate change across the organisation.
