Lloyd’s Regulatory Reporting Specialist – London Insurance Market

Location: City of London / Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Type: Permanent

Salary: Circa £90,000 per annum + benefits + bonus


About the Role

A prestigious Insurance firm operating within the London Market is seeking a Lloyd’s Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a key role within the Compliance and Data Management function, responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant delivery of all regulatory submissions to Lloyd’s, the PRA, and the CBI. You will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the firm’s reputation for regulatory excellence and operational integrity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, validation, and submission of all Lloyd’s and regulatory returns, including (but not limited to): Eligible Complainants, Conduct Risk, ELTO, PMDR, RRQ, and other relevant reports.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting data is complete, accurate, and compliant with the latest Lloyd’s and PRA requirements.
  • Liaise with Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to gather, validate, and reconcile data for reporting purposes.
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to enhance automation, controls, and data governance around regulatory reporting.
  • Support regulatory change initiatives by interpreting new requirements and implementing updates to reporting processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on Lloyd’s reporting standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Produce and maintain clear documentation on reporting processes, data lineage, and audit trails.
  • Identify process improvements to streamline reporting cycles and enhance accuracy.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in regulatory reporting within the London Insurance Market, ideally including Lloyd’s returns.
  • Deep understanding of Lloyd’s, PRA, and CBI reporting requirements and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; working knowledge of SQL and/or Python desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across Compliance, Data, and Operations teams.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organised, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow management and documentation (preferred).
