O'Rourke Coachtrimmers are a world renowned classic and sports car interior specialist. We have built and re trimmed the interiors of many significant cars. The correct candidate will need to have good experience in automotive upholstery on classic and luxury cars, knowledge and skill’s required to re upholster all aspects of a classic car from start to finish. They will need to have a keen eye for detail and be open to critique on their work.

Tasks that will be involved include:

Stripping and fitting of interiors.

Pattern making and material cutting.

Stitching and fitting seat covers, door panels, headlining ect.

Carpet cutting,binding and fitting.

Hood making.

Helping with day to day upkeep and cleanliness of the workshop.

Essential skills include:

knowledge and understanding of sewing on industrial machines.

Knowledge on using the required hand and power tools.

Open minded, keen to learn and improve as required to meet the high standard we strive for.

Able to work on initiative when required and as part of a team.

Flexible start date, good rates of pay over and above advertised are available for the correct candidate.

Sadly this position is not open to someone looking to start in the industry.
