ERP Migration Specialist (Contract)

Location: Hybrid / UK-based

Day Rate: £400 – £500 per day

Contract Length: 18 Months


Chapman Tate Associates are working with a leading organisation currently running on Epicor and embarking on an exciting ERP transformation project.


The business is looking to migrate from Epicor to a new ERP system and has shortlisted seven potential vendors. We’re seeking an experienced ERP Migration Specialist to lead the tender and selection process, and to project manage the migration through to successful implementation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ERP tendering and selection process, evaluating systems and recommending the best fit.
  • Manage the end-to-end migration project from Epicor to the new ERP system over an 18-month period.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure successful system alignment.
  • Oversee data migration, integration, and change management processes.
  • Support adoption and rollout across approximately 100 licenses.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in ERP selection and implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Epicor – experience migrating from Epicor is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tenders, bids, and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience within [insert relevant industry – e.g., manufacturing, engineering, or distribution] is a plus.
  • Knowledge of on-premise and cloud ERP environments.
