Technology Operations Officer

UK (Hybrid / Remote flexibility 2 days onsite) | Office Locations - London, Belfast, Bristol or Gateshead

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

A mission-driven technology organisation is seeking a Technology Operations Officer to support infrastructure, platform, and operational excellence. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of tech services, contribute to system improvements, and liaise across teams to implement scalable, reliable technology solutions in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and monitor infrastructure, platforms, and environments to ensure stability and performance
• Support operations and incident management, handling escalations and ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to implement system enhancements and improvements
• Document processes, runbooks, and technical standards to ensure operational consistency
• Assist in deployments, releases, and integration activities across systems
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement in tech operations

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a technology operations, DevOps, or systems engineering role
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud services, and operational best practices
• Ability to manage incidents, troubleshoot systems, and work under pressure
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A mindset focused on improving reliability, automation, and process
