Chief Technology Officer

High-Growth Fintech (London or UK Wide / Hybrid)

£180k - £200k + Equity

We’re supporting a fast-growing fintech that’s revolutionising through AI and intelligent data processing. As they enter their next phase of growth, they’re seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the evolution of their technology platform and engineering organisation.

The Opportunity

You’ll join the executive team as the company’s technology visionary and execution leader. This is an opportunity to transform a successful product into a world-class, scalable platform – one that balances stability, innovation, and speed of delivery.

You’ll:

• Define and drive the technology strategy and architecture for a cloud-first, data-centric fintech platform.
• Lead a talented team of engineers and architects, building a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
• Oversee the modernisation of existing systems into a modular, scalable environment built for performance and compliance.
• Partner with product and business teams to accelerate innovation and experimentation in areas such as AI, automation, and data intelligence.
• Ensure security, governance, and regulatory compliance across all products and infrastructure.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a CTO or VP of Engineering in a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth product company.
• Strong grounding in cloud architecture (Azure, distributed systems, APIs, and DevOps)
• Experience leading engineering transformation and scaling teams in dynamic environments.
• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership - someone who can set direction and roll up their sleeves when needed.
• Passion for innovation, data, and solving complex challenges through technology.
