The Role and Candidate


POP MART is seeking a highly organized and proactive IP & Licensing Project Supervisor to join our team. This role will support the IP & Licensing Manager in supervising brand collaborations, co-branding, and licensing projects.


Responsibilities


  • Licensing Project Management:
  • Identify and evaluate potential licensing partners and business opportunities and conduct targeted outreach to prospective clients and partners.
  • Support and drive relationship management with Pop Mart licensees. Work closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align on strategic priorities, drive execution, and maintain transparent communication.
  • Develop and deliver compelling IP pitches to drive licensing deals.
  • Maintain and update records of licensing projects, pipelines, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, legal, and finance teams to support licensing strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Negotiate licensing agreements, fees, and terms in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Drive the optimization of internal and external processes to enable efficient communication, effective contract management, and seamless project execution with partners.
  • Work closely with global IP colleagues across different markets to align on project pipeline, share insights, and ensure effective communication and synchronization.
  • Artist Partnership Support:
  • Support artis partnership projects, including negotiate partnership models, discuss IP develop plan and other related issues.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision:
  • Supervise, coach, and support junior team members


Required Qualifications


  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a licensing role, either as a licensor or a licensee
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated interest in pop culture, collectibles, or designer toys
  • Possess strong logical thinking skills and risk awareness
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must hold a valid work visa/residency in the UK for employment


Desirable but Not Essential


  • Additional European language skills (e.g. Spanish, German, French, Italian)
