Head of Data Analytics in Birmingham

Job description

Currently partnered with an International Legal Services company who are searching for a Head of Data & Analytics on 2 year FTC basis where you’ll play a key role in building and managing Data & Analytics function as well as developing and executing Data Strategy aligning with business goals.

Scope of role:

• Build and manage Data & Analytics function alongside developing and executing Data strategy aligning with overall business goals.
• Lead and implement Data Strategy ensuring business objectives such as operational efficiency, risk and growth are aligned.
• Deliver robust data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, accessibility, security and compliance in line with regulations such as GDPR, DPA, SRA Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate closely with the CIO providing key recommendations in establishing scalable data foundations and enabling a basis for capitalising on emerging AI Technologies.
• Oversee deployment of advanced analytics tools, predictive analytics, machine learning and gen AI tech with the view of delivering actionable insights and enhancing products.

Experience required:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or related studies.
• Extensive Data Management, analytics and similar leadership experience ideally across Legal, Insurance, or Financial Services industries.
• Proven track record in developing and executing Data Strategies, Data Governance, quality and compliance.
• Strong knowledge in designing scalable Data Architectures and integrating various data resources.
• Leadership and strong stakeholder management skills and ability to adapt to a fast paced dynamic environment.
