VP of Data Transformation

London - Up to £150,000

Join the next-generation investment firm focused on technology-enabled companies driving innovation in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage data diligence efforts and develop strategic value creation plans to fuel business growth and operational improvements.
Regularly evaluate portfolio companies’ data maturity to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for capability enhancement.
Create actionable roadmaps based on assessments to guide data capability advancements across the portfolio.
Collaborate with portfolio companies and partners to execute critical data strategies that enable innovation and operational excellence.
Monitor implementation of data initiatives and assist portfolio companies with best practices to ensure alignment with value creation goals.

Requirements:

Proven experience in data strategy, transformation, or advisory, preferably in private equity, financial services, or consulting.
Strong knowledge of financial services data, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges.
Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and scalable, secure data infrastructures.
Skilled in analytics, problem-solving, and applying machine learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) to business use cases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
