Quality Assurance Lead - Children’s Social Care in Staffordshire

Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: Until January 2026 initially

Start Date: Immediate

Working Arrangement: Flexible hybrid

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to provide interim leadership and oversight within Children’s Social Care. This role will focus on ensuring consistently high standards of practice through effective quality assurance and management of Conference & Review services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire and develop multi-disciplinary teams in a complex social care environment
• Oversee Conference & Review services, ensuring robust professional challenge and consistency of practice
• Analyse performance data to identify themes, trends, and areas for improvement
• Produce high-quality analytical and evaluative reports for senior leadership and key forums
• Champion the voice of children, families, and practitioners across all QA activity

About You:

• Experienced social work professional with a deep understanding of statutory and safeguarding frameworks
• Proven background in quality assurance, conference and review management, and performance improvement
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
