Our client, a leading national rural consultancy, is seeking a Farm Consultant to join their established team in Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career by advising on a diverse portfolio of farms and rural estates.

Position Overview

You will join a highly regarded farming team, providing strategic business and management advice to clients across the East Midlands. This role is key to helping landowners manage and improve their land, contributing directly to the success of their agricultural businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract farming agreements.
• Conduct financial monitoring and analysis.
• Prepare environmental scheme applications.
• Provide technical advice to clients.
• Advise on farm diversification projects.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.
• Advise on government legislation compliance.
• Prepare detailed internal and external reports.

Requirements

• A degree in an agricultural subject.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Commercially aware with good numeracy.
• Proficient with IT, including MS Office.
• A keen interest in farming systems.
• Practical farming experience is beneficial.
