Senior Product Designer - £80,000 - Data & Analytics - London


A leading data and analytics organisation is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next generation of data-driven insights products. This role offers the opportunity to transform complex data into intuitive, visually engaging experiences that empower businesses to make smarter, evidence-based decisions.


The Senior Product Designer will take end-to-end ownership of the design process - from research and concept creation to prototyping and delivery - working at the intersection of data, design, and technology. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts, this role will play a pivotal part in defining how users interact with analytical tools and visualise information at scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design strategy for products focused on data analytics, insights, and performance benchmarking.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, engaging, and interactive user experiences.
  • Own the full design lifecycle - from discovery and user research to UX, UI, and prototyping.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accessible, scalable, and sustainable design implementation.
  • Partner with data engineering and AI teams to integrate NLP, LLM, and advanced analytics into user workflows.
  • Define and evolve visual languages, data visualisation systems, and design standards across products.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions and prioritisation.
  • Facilitate ideation sessions, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation.
  • Contribute to the growth and maturity of design practices within a data-focused product environment.


Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience designing data-rich digital products within a product or analytics team.
  • Deep understanding of UX for complex data, dashboards, or B2B analytics platforms.
  • Strong visual design and data visualisation skills, with an eye for clarity and precision.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, data science, and product teams.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and experience with prototyping and user testing.
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with meticulous execution.
  • Experience working in Agile, iterative development environments.
  • Portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving, and data visualisation capabilities.


Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human–Computer Interaction, or related discipline.
  • Strategic and user-centred thinker with a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and open to feedback from technical and non-technical peers alike.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple workstreams from concept to delivery.
  • Excited by innovation in data design and committed to personal and professional growth.
