Reporting to: Associate Director, Reward & Wellbeing

Team: People / Reward & Wellbeing

Role Purpose

To lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s employee benefits and wellbeing offering, ensuring it remains relevant, competitive, and aligned with strategic priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of employee benefits and wellbeing programmes, from design to delivery.
  • Evaluate existing offerings and introduce new initiatives that support employee engagement and organisational goals.
  • Ensure all benefits are cost-effective, meet service standards, and are renewed efficiently.
  • Lead the development and optimisation of any digital platforms used to manage flexible benefits.
  • Manage relationships with external providers, brokers, and consultants, ensuring quality and value.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on complex or sensitive matters related to benefits.
  • Monitor legal, regulatory, and market developments to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Manage the budget for benefits and wellbeing, ensuring financial discipline.
  • Contribute to broader reward and people initiatives as required.
  • Support the creation of an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Remain flexible and responsive to evolving organisational needs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in benefits and wellbeing programme management
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with HR systems and data (desirable)
  • Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD) preferred
