Service Designer

Hybrid (Manchester - Once a week)

Salary up to £62k (depending on experience)


We’re on the lookout for an experienced Service Design professional with solid GDS and public sector experience to join a super high-performing User-Centred Design (UCD) team.

What you'll be doing

Leading end-to-end service design projects: You'll be planning and delivering user-centred design activities from discovery through to implementation.

Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and clients: You'll be running workshops and communicating insights to gain alignment and buy-in.

Applying service design and agile methods: It'll be your job to improve digital services, processes and user experiences across both public and private sectors.

Embedding business change management: You'll be ensuring organisational, cultural and people impacts are understood and addressed.

Contributing to business growth: Part of this role will be identifying opportunities, shaping proposals and supporting bids for new transformation projects.



What you'll need

  • Experience delivering service design projects within agile environments.
  • Have successfully worked to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and led projects through GDS phases and assessments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to gain buy-in across teams.
