Job description

Urgent requirement for a skilled Marine Fitter with hands-on yacht or vessel experience, for luxury yacht builder in Holland of a initial 3 month contract.

What You’ll Do:

Fit, assemble, and install mechanical components — including engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery.

Align and adjust parts to meet exact technical and performance requirements.

Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Work from technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring precise assembly.

Collaborate with engineers, welders, and electricians to integrate mechanical systems within vessel structures.

Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in all aspects of marine fitting.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience as a Marine Fitter, ideally within yacht building, refit, or ship repair.

✅ Strong understanding of marine mechanical systems and installation methods.

✅ Skilled in using both hand and power tools with precision.

✅ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.

✅ Problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.

✅ Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in mechanical or marine fitting preferred.
