Head of Sales & GTM
Location: Hybrid, Central London (3 days in office, 2 days home working)
Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 base + £50,000 – £60,000 (OTE c. £150,000)
The Opportunity
I’m supporting a fast-growing healthtech SaaS company that’s transforming how patients access medicines and healthcare services through a national digital network of pharmacies and healthcare partners.
They’ve already secured partnerships with several leading pharmacy groups and are now entering their next phase of expansion - scaling their platform to reach thousands more providers and expanding into new healthcare verticals.
To drive this growth, they’re hiring a Head of Sales & GTM, a hands-on, commercially astute leader who can build and scale a high-performing sales function, refine the go-to-market strategy, and lead from the front.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll take ownership of the UK sales function, leading a team of seven full-cycle BDMs. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth, building structure, and empowering the team to perform at a consistently high level.
This is a true player-coach role, ideal for someone who thrives on creating structure, improving processes, and personally influencing results.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead, coach, and develop a seven-person sales team to deliver on ambitious growth targets
- Refine and embed a repeatable sales process (current sales cycle 2–3 weeks)
- Collaborate with marketing and product to sharpen value proposition, pricing, and messaging
- Build sales enablement materials, playbooks, and demo assets that elevate conversion rates
- Drive new business through direct sales, channel partnerships, and referral initiatives
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics across revenue, recurring revenue mix, and new client wins
- Personally manage strategic opportunities and contribute to enterprise-level growth
About You
You’re a proven SaaS sales leader who’s as comfortable coaching teams as you are getting close to customers. You bring energy, commercial focus, and a builder’s mindset, always looking for ways to make things work better, faster, and smarter.
You’ll bring:
- Proven SaaS sales leadership in a high-growth environment
- Experience driving revenue growth and developing sales teams
- Strong understanding of SMB and mid-market sales motions
- A hands-on approach to process improvement, enablement, and CRM management
- Data-driven decision-making and commercial acumen
- Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable iterating, testing, and scaling
- Experience in healthtech or healthcare is a plus, but not essential
