About the role

As a key connector between Buying and Merchandising, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.


In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of the critical path, manage delivery schedules, and handle order raising with precision. You’ll also dive into data, producing insightful weekly and ad-hoc reports that help drive smart decisions. Your analytical mind and sharp eye for detail will be essential in supporting the team with both strategic analysis and day-to-day admin.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning & Analysis

  • Support seasonal planning and budget decisions
  • Keep the range plan up to date

Order Management

  • Maintain the critical path and liaise with suppliers
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with accuracy

Intake & Delivery

  • Update delivery schedules weekly
  • Assist with store transfer communication

Trading Support

  • Prepare weekly trade packs and daily sales reports

Promotions

  • Compile line lists and update promotional calendars
  • Load price changes into the system

Reporting & Insights

  • Analyse data to spot trends and support decision-making
  • Help maximise sales through reporting and team support


EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Competent Excel user
  • Excellent knowledge of all basic merchandising principles
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional approach, accurate, honest, tactful, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to work independently, take initiative and work as part of a team
  • The ability to build good relationships
  • A passion for Retail industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Adaptive and flexible to fast paced Retail environment
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload in line with the needs of department and company

Desired

  • Previous administration experience.
  • A related degree and a head office placement within a similar retailer
