Bradshaw Transport is a well-established general haulage and warehouse company who have been trading for over 130 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join our team in Sturton by Stow on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities for the Transport Planner role:

• Provide support to the Transport Manager in the planning of loads
• Assist in ensuring loads are planned to ensure compliance with driver hours’ and working time directive
• Deal with and resolve any queries relating to service issues, incidents or accidents
• To pro-actively engage with customers to ensure excellent customer relationships
• To assist in the development of new customer leads, including tenders and customer presentations
• To assist in completing driver debriefs including arranging driver training where required

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Transport Planner based in Sturton by Stow, Lincolnshire will be highly organised with the ability to work under your own initiative. You will be a driven individual who is capable of demonstrating strong written and verbal skills. You will be a good team player and be able to work well within a small team.

Key skills and experience for the Transport Planner role:

• Previous transport planning experience essential
• Transport Manager CPC holder is desirable
• Able to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Experience using Transport Management Software is desirable
