Tangent International is looking for an Vice President of Sales in United Kingdom

Job description

Vice President of Sales – EMEA

Join a global leader in fraud prevention and financial technology as VP, Sales – EMEA, where you’ll take ownership of a high-performing regional team and lead the next chapter of growth across Tier 1 financial services and banking clients.

This is a strategic, high-impact role reporting into the CRO – ideal for a sales leader with experience navigating complex enterprise accounts, managing seasoned sellers, and creating a culture of collaboration and high performance across a diverse team.

About the Role:

As VP of Sales you’ll lead the regional sales organisation with responsibility for all revenue generation, team performance, and GTM strategy across EMEA. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution – you’ll be both a coach and a dealmaker, focused on account growth, operational discipline, and team development.

You’ll inherit an experienced and highly successful team – including account managers and dedicated hunters – and will be expected to bring maturity, cohesion, and leadership to drive collective performance. We require a leader who can coach experienced professionals, and steer strategic deals across global accounts - Tier 1 & 2 banks and across the broader payments ecosystem.

This is not a turnaround role – the business is profitable, incredibly stable and growing – my client requires a VP who can elevate an already solid team to the next level of performance, culture, and cross-regional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EMEA sales organisation, managing both new business and existing client growth across fraud prevention, 3DS, and authentication solutions.
  • Set and execute EMEA go-to-market strategy, including pipeline build, forecast accuracy, and account planning.
  • Coach and develop a team of experienced enterprise sellers (current team includes 2 AMs and 1 hunter).
  • Navigate internal team dynamics and foster a collaborative, goal-oriented culture.
  • Own senior relationships with banks, issuers, and global financial institutions.
  • Align closely with peers in the Americas and APAC to support global account coordination.
  • Champion sales excellence, process discipline, and enterprise deal strategy across the region.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 15+ years in B2B tech sales, with 6+ years in fraud, authentication, or financial crime prevention solutions.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales leadership within PE-backed or fast-growth environments.
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to coach, unify, and inspire teams.
  • Experience closing strategic deals with major banks or financial institutions.
  • Skilled in both pipeline discipline and high-value deal structuring.
  • High EQ, collaborative mindset, and ability to build trusted peer relationships globally.
  • Comfortable leading change, driving strategy, and executing with precision.

Why Join:

  • Be part of a profitable, well-funded leader with $100M+ ARR and 600+ enterprise clients.
  • Backed by leading private equity firm and led by inspirational execs from top-tier fraud and security vendors.
  • Join at a pivotal growth phase following major product reinvestment and platform rebuild.
  • Work with cutting-edge technology: 3DS, behavioural biometrics, and AI-powered fraud detection.
  • Own EMEA sales strategy in a global GTM motion – with real influence on company direction.
  • Travel flexibility and remote-first setup, with regular global leadership offsites
