Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (DOE)

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Residential Conveyancer to join the firm’s property team, based in either Bridgwater or Yeovil. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, supported by a dedicated 1:1 assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full range of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory and quality standards
• Contributing to business development and client retention through high-quality service delivery

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales) – this is essential
• Minimum 4 years PQE or equivalent experience within residential conveyancing
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing processes and Land Registry requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions effectively
• Confident communicator with strong client care skills
• Experience using modern case management systems (desirable)
