An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Partner to lead and rebuild a highly regarded Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked firm’s Private Client team in Shrewsbury. This role offers the chance to shape the future of the department, deliver tailored advice to high net worth clients, and drive business development in a collaborative and professional environment.

You will be responsible for advising on wills, trusts, inheritance tax, and succession planning, while mentoring junior team members and establishing the culture and strategic direction of the team. This is a pivotal role for a senior Private Client lawyer looking to make a tangible impact and lead a high-quality practice.

• Lead and build the Private Client team, mentoring new and existing members

• Advise high net worth clients on wills, trusts, inheritance tax, and succession planning

• Develop new business and maintain strong client relationships

• Shape the culture and strategic direction of the team

• Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure the team’s success and growth

• Proven track record advising HNW clients and managing complex matters

• Strategic, client-focused, and capable of leading and motivating a team

• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable shaping the culture of a growing department
