We’re seeking a digitally literate, detail-driven Project Controller to join our Operations team in Colwich, supporting the successful delivery of multiple small-scale engineering projects.

About the Role

As a Project Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects under your control are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

You’ll coordinate project scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation while maintaining alignment between financials, operational targets, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules and financial reports.

• Manage resource planning, labour allocation, and project tracking.

• Coordinate with operations teams, clients, and key stakeholders.

• Support project setup, risk assessment, and cost control.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

• Contribute to performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a project control, coordination, or planning role – ideally within Mechanical Engineering, Energy from Waste, or Construction.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Office 365 tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Professional qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2 are desirable but not essential.
