We’re partnering with a leading national housebuilder seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Special Projects team, based in Brentwood. This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS to take ownership of high-profile projects, driving commercial performance and value while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for the full commercial management of projects — including procurement, subcontract management, CVRs, cashflows, and final account settlements. You’ll work closely with construction and development teams, providing accurate cost analysis, managing budgets, and ensuring commercial success throughout each stage of delivery.

What we’re looking for:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Surveying or Construction, or relevant experience
• Experience with major FM contractors, cladding, or housing association projects
• Excellent commercial, analytical and IT skills (COINS experience desirable)
• Strong communication, negotiation and budget management abilities
• A collaborative approach with great attention to detail
