A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded and top-ranking law firm in North Yorkshire as Head of Commercial Property.

This is a rare and exciting chance to take on a leadership role within a well-established firm known for its excellence, client care, and strong regional reputation.

As Head of Commercial Property, you will:

• Lead and manage a small but well-established team, providing guidance, support, and development.
• Take ownership of the department’s strategic growth, working closely with the firm’s Partners to drive business development and expand the team’s reach.
• Oversee a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant work, and development projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the firm’s loyal client base while identifying new opportunities to grow the department’s portfolio.

I'm looking for a driven and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor with:

• At least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property work.
• Leadership or management experience, or the ambition and aptitude to step up into a management role.
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of property matters.
• Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to business development.
