Job description

Xcede’s AI recruitment team have been exclusively engaged by an exciting AI B2B SaaS scale-up to help them grow their AI Research & Engineering team. They recently secured an impressive $30m Series A funding round from one of the world’s leading AI VC firms.

The team is currently made up of three AI Research Engineers. We are supporting them grow this team to eight over the coming months. Due to this growth, they are looking for an experienced AI Lead / AI Engineering Manager who can bridge the gap between the AI team and the CTO.

This is a unique opportunity to join a very exciting business at a perfect stage of their journey, leading the AI team that is integral to their agentic AI solutions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience leading, managing and growing teams of AI Researchers and Engineers
• Strong technical knowledge and experience around AI agents, LLMs, RAG systems, reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, etc
• Data Engineering and Infrastructure knowledge and experience
• Strong product mindset
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS start-up or scale-up would be advantageous

This is a hybrid role (2-3 days a week) from their central London office. Visa sponsorship is possible for suitable candidates.
